Rob Goldman is an interdisciplinary artist whose inspiring projects synthesize aspects of art, education and social action. He is also an internationally published photographer and author of Shooting From The Heart: Creating Passion and Purpose in Your Life and Work.Mr. Goldman’s photographs have been celebrated in gallery exhibitions and national magazines including Cosmopolitan, Time, Brides and Mademoiselle, and have appeared in ads for Club Med, Microsoft, AT&T, Marriott and Seagrams to name a few. Examples of Goldman’s work can be found in both private and corporate collections including the prestigious Polaroid Collection.
Mr. Goldman has developed a variety of personal and professional development programs for people who are ready to express their passion and their creativity in their lives and their work. His workshops and seminars are offered internationally and designed specifically for the education, business and art communities. Rob’s teaching concentrates on the human being—the “artist” as a whole—encouraging and challenging people in a variety of rich, holistic and supportive environments.
Mr. Goldman’s lectures and programs, including his acclaimed Shooting From the Heart® and Teaching From The Heart®, series, are offered nationally to universities, corporations and organizations focusing on aspects of creativity, personal development and progressive education. As well, he has collaborated with museums, schools and non-for-profits on wide variety of community-based art projects that focus on various social issues, most notably innovative, intentional education.
Rob Goldman is the founder and director of the Institute for Creative Development in Huntington, New York. He is also founder of the Stepping Stone Gallery for Contemporary Photography and co-founder of Art That Matters, an artist community and gallery in Oyster Bay, New York. Mr. Goldman is an adjunct professor at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood, New York and serves on the advisory board of their Photographic Imaging Program. Mr. Goldman holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.
